W. Kent Velde

Kent Velde is the Founding Partner of Lakeview Equity Partners, LLC, a Milwaukee-based, private equity fund focused on investments in Midwest based middle market companies. Mr. Velde is also President of Wisconsin Growth Fund LLC, which managed the portfolio company investments of BOCF, LLC, a fund focused on investments in middle market Wisconsin companies.

Prior to forming Wisconsin Growth Fund in 1999, Mr. Velde was President of Banc One, Milwaukee, where he held oversight responsibility for all commercial banking activities and for Bank One Venture Capital Corporation. Previous to Banc One, he was the Area Executive for Chase Manhattan Bank in Los Angeles, responsible for Chase’s commercial banking and corporate finance activities in the western United States. Mr. Velde started his career at Continental Illinois National Bank in Chicago.

Mr. Velde currently serves on the board of directors of PPC Partners, Inc. (as Lead Director); as well as LeaseCrunch, LLC; Terova Senior Living, LLC and the Greenwoods State Bank. He has also served as a director of each of the Lakeview Equity Partners, LLC and Wisconsin Growth Fund, LLC portfolio companies.

He has served on the Boards of the Milwaukee Art Museum (as President and Chairman of the Board); the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center (as Chairman of the Board); the Milwaukee Repertory Theater (as President of the Board); and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee.
